Are you desiring to be part of our benevolence team? We look forward to partnering with Love Inc. to serve this community effectively. In order to do this - we ask that everyone participate in a one day workshop where we will learn about the benevolence ministry, what Love Inc. is and how to help by giving a “hand up”. This one day training is for anyone interested in participating in the benevolence of our church with our local community and our partnership with Love INC. Details and sign up are online.
A Seder Dinner is a structured, liturgical meal held during Passover in Jewish communities to retell the story of the Israelites' Exodus from slavery in Egypt. The Seder was what Jesus and his disciples ate together when he instituted the communion meal on the night that he was betrayed. As Christians, we are re-enacting that meal on Maundy Thursday to emphasize the connection between the Old Testament liberation from Egypt and the New Testament salvation from sin. This is a family event, with many opportunities for children to participate. Sign up online.
We will be gathering together Friday, April 3rd at 6:30 pm for a somber Good Friday service as we prepare our hearts to celebrate Easter on Sunday. This is a family event and there will be no children's ministry.
